A SURVEY carried out in December on New Year resolutions found that a third of UK consumers were intending to eat more healthily in 2015, with 65 per cent of them vowing to munch more fruit and vegetables.
However, a quarter of all those trying to eat healthily in the New Year will have abandon those efforts after a couple of weeks, with the number rising to nearly half within a month.
Seeing as we're almost at the end of January, are you one of those that said they would eat more fruit and veg in 2015, but has already given up?
If you have given up perhaps you would have carried on if you'd had a large variety of fruit to hand; such as in your work place – which is where we come in.
We supply fruit boxes across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire to many businesses that are keen to help their employees stay healthy.
Perhaps you could have a word with your boss to have one of our fruit boxes delivered to your work place – after all they are a great employee benefit?
The healthy eating resolution was especially common among those aged 18 to 34, with 44 per cent of women resolving to eat healthier in the New Year, compared to 27 per cent of men.
Improving general well-?being and a desire to lose weight were the main drivers for a similar number of consumers.
