What is Santisation?
Why do you need a company to come and do this to your cooler every three months?
Sanitisation is the method by which the parts of your cooler that are in contact with water are cleansed to a level that removes any possibility of bug growth. When water is left for more than three months it starts to create a film called 'biofilm'. This is where any bugs would love to make their home, so we come in and remove it, along with any limescale build-up. We leave the cooler lovely and fresh and clean both inside and out. Afterwards, we fill in a ticket on the back of the cooler, so that you can see that we have been and done our job.
The methods that we use are recommended by the BWCA and form an important part of the independent audit performed once a year on its members.
Our prices include this as part of your cooler care package. We will not allow anybody to have one of our coolers without also providing a sanitisation service.
