Choosing your cooler?
Bottled or plumbed in coolers?
There are two completely different types of water cooler, bottled and plumbed-in. Bottled coolers rely on deliveries of bottled of mineral water and plumbed-in coolers need to be permanently fitted in.
We have an Elite range and a standard range in both types, so that whatever your budget and needs,we have a cooler to suit you.
A bottled cooler is free-standing and does not need to be plumbed-in to the water system. The water supply comes from 18.5 ltr or 13 ltr bottles dropped into the top of the cooler. They require a 13 amp socket nearby. The bottled coolers are smaller and there is a wider range of styles than the plumbed-in coolers. They especially suit temporary situations, eg portacabins, and also reception areas, showrooms and boardrooms. There is no doubt that the taste from a bottle of mineral water on a cooler is quite exceptional. These are usually rented but can also be purchased.
Plumbed in coolers make more economic sense for areas where very large amounts of rehydration are required on a permanent basis. They need to be plumbed into a mains water supply, and require a 13 amp socket. They have a filter fitted on the back to remove bad tastes and odours. The coolers are rented monthly and all other costs including filter change and sanitisation every six months are rolled into the price, creating a fixed price product. Can also be purchased.
