Buying from a smaller company gives the NHS better prices and higher service levels

Diane and her team at Hull based Countrywise Water Coolers are celebrating two big gulps of good news that are helping to put this locally based company out in front of its nationwide competition.

First the company has just heard that Countrywise has been selected, along with a 12 other companies to supply the NHS with plumbed-in and bottled water coolers. “This is a fantastic win for us” says Diane, Managing Director of Countrywise Water Coolers “especially as it was achieved in the face of fierce competition from much larger water cooler companies”.

The tender was not only awarded to companies that offered the NHS an economic advantage but also took into account the quality of the equipment, the service, including the health and hygiene procedures, and the use of environmentally friendly, sustainable products. “We already supply councils in the north but this opportunity to supply the health and other public sector enterprises with both bottled and plumbed-in water coolers is a real feather in the cap of everyone at Countrywise” Diane added.

The second piece of good news that has put a big smile on the faces of everyone at Countrywise came from the British Water Cooler Association who awarded them a 'green light' in their latest bottled and plumbed water cooler company audit. “Very few companies achieve such a high result” a delighted Diane commented. “This proves that our emphasis on the quality of our working methods is really paying off and that water from our coolers is keeping thousands of people hydrated, happy and healthy”.

So what’s next for the team at Countrywise? Well Diane is at the forefront of a drive to get more people drinking water. “There is more and more evidence that good hydration helps children with concentration at school as well keeping people at work and the elderly on top form”, enthuses Diane "and I see Countrywise Water Coolers helping to spread the habit."
